What paint to use on seat belt buckles

I bought a nice set of seat belts off of ebay. However the buckles could stand to be repainted. Should I uses a satin or gloss black paint or would the SEM dye work

Not gloss, they are semi or satin. I used to use Krylon and they would come out perfect. They have changed their paint now, so I don't know. Sem dye would probably work also.

John,
The SEM paint is the closest to the correct original texture and finish.
Basically, the original intent was to simulate a vinyl surface on those buckles which is what the SEM dye is for.
