98 SERIES EIGHT inline. Eight-cylinder. L-head. Cast iron block. Bore and Stroke: 3-1/4x3-7/8 inches. Displacement 257 cid. Compression ratio: 7.0:1. Brake hp: 115 hp at 3600 rpm. Carter WD0-650 SA dual downdraft carburation with built-in automatic choke. Pretty high tech for its day.
