Sun Visor Vanity Mirror - Orientation

1970 442 Convertible

Just received the replacement mirror from Fusick that has a rocket in one corner. My assumption is when it's facing you, it should get installed with the rocket in the lower right hand corner so that the rocket faces up (fire coming out the bottom). Sounds obvious, but just wanting someone to absolutely confirm before I press it into its little plastic sockets.

Thanks.

I have had many of these and I can't remember for sure but "thought" that the rocket was always in the right upper corner?

I don't know that the rocket emblem was always available on the mirror in 70. Mine did not have it. Some repo places sell it with, some without the logo. I like the look of the logo.

'68 & '69 didn't have the logo originally as well. I bought a replacement mirror from Fusick for my '69 that has the logo. I figured that, since all the other rocket logos face up, I would install the replacement mirror with the rocket face up. So, mine went in the lower right corner and it looks appropriate.

If the rocket doesn't point upwards, it will look goooofy!

Ok thanks you guys. Seemed super obvious that the rocket should face up, but wanted to make sure before pushing it in
