Silver trim
Late to your silver party, but (and it’s gonna sound weird) consider a few Silver Sharpie pens. Like 3-5 of them in succession to lay precise layers of silver paint on your surface.
Been at the Olds thing for decades and hit on Black & Silver sharpies years ago as an inexpensive, quick, easy way to color part close to what they should look like.
And hey, if it wears off, just draw it in again.
Fully accept that this may not meet your quality standards, but it’s been fine for my driver cars
Cheers,
Chris

I like the paint pens. These are what they use at salvage yards to mark parts when removed off cars (they usually use yellow). They are available in silver. Try to get them at a place that sells a lot cuz if been on shelf a long time they get clogged. New ones have a nice point on them and work great on the A/C outlets, etc. As they get used the tip gets smashed - then use 'em up for marking other stuff.
