Pearl seatbacks?

I have a 71 cutlass conv. and plan on refinishing the interior over the winter.
The problem is that I am having problems finding pearl saetbacks and bases.
Should'nt they be pearl if the rest of the interior is pearl.
Also i plan on doing the door panels. Would you recommend assembled or unassembled.
Thanks

yes they should be pearl, let me know if you want the seat backs, I have a brand new repo set I can sell you. From what I have been told (and did myself) the assembled door panel sets are easier to work with. Not sure about 71s but I did take off the original stainless trim on my 70 door panels and used it to replace the new stuff as it was wider than the repo and also reused the door lock surround. I am not sure what color technically 71 is, is it white, parchment or pearl, not sure. Many parts only come in black and you have to paint the parts, like the door arm rests.

I didn't have any trouble getting those pearl pieces from fusicks about two years ago.

They were just like the (old) pearl pieces they replaced and everything matched, I didn't have to paint any of these parts. I'm happy with how how it turned out, even the PUI seat covers
