In the 3rd picture I don't see the seat back lock striker on the outboard hinge, so I'm thinking '66. To the OP, is the seat back metal and is there a release button on the side?
The seat back is metal and no release button. Here are a couple of pics. I have had these seats since 1980. They came in a 1948 ****** panel truck. Sorry for them being dirty. It ****** a;so had a 4 speed console.
Metal backs with no release are 1966 only (as are the seat frames, assuming there really isn't a release mechanism inside and it's just been disabled). The upholstery pattern is neither 1966 nor 1967 Oldsmobile. I don't have the expertise on the other divisions' patterns.
Here is 1966, full size on the left and Cutlass on the right. Note, FYI, that the Starfire seats are the same as the Cutlass seats.
Here's 1967, full size first and Cutlass Supreme (the only Cutlass available with buckets that year) below.
I was looking on the internet and found this site ( connersmotorcar.com ). He sold a 66 - 442 with the same style of seats as mine. Steve
Well, the other 66 442 on that site has the correct upholstery. Only the Cutlass 2dr models were available with bucket seats from the factory in 1966.
This pattern in the other car they sold appears to be an incorrect aftermarket interior kit.
The 1966 F85 had a completely different pattern with an X-shaped stitching pattern, and only bench seats were offered, even with the 442 option on an F85 or F85 Deluxe that year.
