Old School Seat belt retractors

I recently installed seat belts on my ‘63 F85 front and rear that I ordered from RetroBelts. Now the wife is comfortable with me cruising around with the kids haha

I found these old style retractors on EBay for $20 and figured I’d give it a shot. Just put them on the fronts and have to say they are pretty cool and work better than just letting the outside belt flop down.

There isn’t enough room between the seat edge and door frame to fit a conventional belt retractor and thought this was a cool cheap option and wanted to share.

I've got them on my car. They work good. Did you get instructions with them?

Yea I did. Glad I did too. It says 6 turns is the max but it felt like it could have rotated plenty more

Put these in my 1964 F85 15 years ago and they are still working great.
