Need help on bench seat

Hey. does someone have instructions on how to take apart front bench seats. The car is a 67 delmont 88. There isn't a arm rest. I don't want to mess it up. It's a PITA to keep taking out the whole bench to redo the floor, interior etc. If I can get it apart, it would make it easier to store.

Thanx in advance.

Forgot to mention, bench seat is for a convertible, so seat back folds down.

are you just meaning how to take off the seat backs?

Take off the side hinge retaining clip (i beleive on delmonts there is a peice of chrome trim that covers the hinge, remove the trim)
Pull the hinge outward until it pops off the pin. Sometimes you have to use a small pry bar wrapped with a cloth to pry it outward enough.

Then lean the seat back forward and then tilt it up towards the center of the seat and it will come right out of the center pivot point.

Repeat for the other side.

Yes, just the seat backs......Thanks for the help. Now I don't have to wrestle with that living room sofa anytime I want to work on stuff
