Just Dashes

Any one know of or had ever got a dash fixed by Just Dashes. Just wondering if they look good and how close to factory they look

They are insanely priced. http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194430

Many guys on the 2nd gen Camaro forums opted to try out
Just Dashes, I've seen praises, and I've seen very bitter disappointments.

Repop's dashes are ~$320 for Camaro's. So more people are going that route. (I did)
I'm not sure if there is a repop option for Olds though.

You'll find variations in OER Dash quality and fit apparently because people complain there too.
I guess I got lucky, because mine fit perfectly.

My brother had the dash in his '74 T-Bird done by them for $450 3 years ago, did excellent work.

They are costly because they strip the old dash down to the base and remake it with all new material. I have known a few restorers that used them. And yes you get what you pay for.

Not always. $1100 and a very unhappy customer.

I had a '68 GTO dash 15 years ago that was done by them and nothing was right, too big around the AC oulets, not the right contours.
From what I've seen they do a real nice job now, took years to perfect the process I guess. I sold that one for 200 bucks and found a mint original one for 150 bucks, unless it's some rare deal usually if you take your time and look around you can find a nice one. You could probably find a whole parts car with a nice dash and junk the rest for less than it would cost to get a dash done by that place.

My first post I linked to is a thread from Fall 2010 with 2 very dissatisfied customers as well.
Believe whatever makes ya happy , but experiences do vary.

I'm starting to wonder if you own stock in them or something.....LOL

I used Just Dashes about 3 years ago to do my 71 dash. I requested if they could take out the common sag that appears over the instrument cluster. I was very happy with there work and the dash came back laser straight. The dash went back together with out any hitches. I also used them to recover my pillar post pads since I was not happy with the repro's. The cost back then was over $900.00 for the dash alone and about $100.00 a peice for the pillars pads. Attached are some pic's.

I had my '66 pontiac dash done and it turned out great. They are priced high but I figured it's the thing I see most when driving. I was not disappointed.
