I am trying to decide if I should buy new interior, front and back seat covers, door panels, and carpet kit from legendary for my 72 cs or just let an upholstery shop use their own material. What do you think?

 

If you want an assured correct o.e. pattern and grain, plus great quality. I would go with what you are thinking.

Not 100% true, some upholstery shops can duplicate a factory interior. It all depends on what your after and cost. Legendary is a quality product.

 

Legendary is better than PUI and some upholstery shops are great and some are nightmares. Do you homework on the shop for sure.

 

If contemplating legendary- two things to consider-
They have a 25% sale on now until the 6th of January- so if you want theirs, order it soon.

Legendary makes their covers to order and this is their busiest time of the year- expect a 4-6 week lead time for them to make and ship them.

 

For a car like yours, I'd think quite a few shops would order premade covers from Legendary rather than make their own if you requested a correct redo. Worth asking if they order or make from scratch

I bought my front buckets and rear seat cover from Fusick and they deal with PUI. There carpet set is from ACC. I dont have any problems with them. They fit like a glove.
