Interior panel issue

my previous owner left the car sitting out in the Southern Ca. sun for 10 years and some of the interior panels started to turn green. I've purchased dark saddle paint and pulled all the interior panels. I also purchased some fatmat but have never done either project. Any advise before I get started would be greatly appreciated.

you can see where the rear seat was, as that section of the side panel is still saddle.

Thanks...

My advice is to not paint carpet.

What paint are you using?

I hope you bought plenty. You may find that it is not a perfect match, and you may be painting everything to get it to match. Test a small area that is not going to be seen.

right color paint

So my door panels are fine, I'm painting the panels under the rear windows and hatchback area, plus the panels that run on top of both windows, (it holds the shoulder harness part of the seat belt in place). So I'm trying to match the paint with the door panels as best I can.

I purchased dark saddle paint from Classic Industries but I'm wondering if I needed to go a shade lighter.

In the picture, the darker color shoulder harness panel has been painted dark saddle, the other panel (rear pillar), is the original color that I was trying to match.

Can anyone tell me if I should be switching to med saddle? Or perhaps the pillar piece also faded over the years and this is it.

build sheet

I've attached what was left of my build sheet after I found it under the driver's bucket seat. Can anyone tell me if any of these codes tells me the what color my interior is?

Reupholstered seats

Installation next week. I did keep the factory hounds tooth material on the seats, my upholstery guy only replaced the naugahyde as I wanted to keep the factory look.

The dark saddle will blend into the reupholstered seats ok.

Your build sheet will not show interior color palette. It's the instructions for the assembly line about what the rest of the car should have after it arrives from the fisher body plant where the shell and interior were put together. That's the reason the body number is identified on the build sheet.

Thanks Achocoastal, but I already used the OER dark saddle paint I got from Classic Industries, and as Allan R thought, it matched up pretty well. I also got the seats installed. The only thing I need to complete the interior is to replace my dash pad.

I didn't want a dash cap, but a replacement pad. I think I might have asked this previously, but any suggestions?
