interior light(s)

interior light(s)

I know this sounds simple but I dont want to force this. Im trying to remove the side interior lights on a 62 starfire the ones located between the rear side windows and the rear window they dont twist and they dont want to pull off?

Know this is an old post.. but...
the plastic lenses come out. Don't try to take off the entire chrome bezel... bec they are screwed into the C pillar. If you break a lense no bigge since they repro them. I hope this helps

Viper thanks I finally figured that out I was trying to remove the entire chrome ring DUH!!! had no trouble buying bulb for that and couple others

The only reason why I knew that you couldn't remove the entire thing is that mine were not attached (I don't have a head liner at the moment). I am putting in all new light bulbs myself. I am glad that I found another person with a white 62 starfire!

previous owner replaced my headliner but left off the chrome bars, nice thing was they repadded the dash and the rear shelf, had to replace the frt seats though as they did those in a cheap gray vynal.

I need a headliner done myself, as well as new front seat covering. The dash was redone, but does not fit very well. The dash side pieces are not fitting right, and I can't get the trim toward the front of the dash in properly. But I guess that is just part of the fun of these old cars eh lol.
