Hog Rings and Pliers

So i've got the whole interior gutted on my 92 Cutlass Convertible and i'm putting on some vinyl seat cover from seatcovers.net and I've got some hog rings and pliers ... man they were expensive. I see places where I can hog ring the front buckets, but the rear bench is going to be a little bit of an issue. Has anyone ever done this before to the back seat. If so give me a shout on how you did it.

Hmmmm....Ya got me thinking that the rear seat is some kind of blow moulded foam item without springs!?....Possibly the cover just glued on....The old days had seats made of metal springs and the covers hog ringed. My suggestion would be to talk to an upholstery shop for advice or maybe ya need to build some sort of framework under the rear seat so the hog rings will attach.....just my 2cents worth.
