Help with identification of piece

I took my console apart many years ago thinking I would remember where every nut and piece went back together. WRONGO! So this week I'm trying to put my interior back together and thought this piece pictured was the rear support for my console. Tacked onto the trans tunnel hump. I installed a complete floor repop and the puzzle isn't quite going back together. Can anybody confirm this pictured piece is in fact part of the console support? Thanks for taking the time.

Yes, they look just like my 71 console support-rear.

I'll show you what I've got. I'll try to find you a thread or two where others have shown pics.

Man this helps a lot. With the complete repop floor that's available for A bodies like I've installed you're otherwise flying blind. My very large ballpeen will be getting some use. The trans tunnel on these repops is just not OLDSMOBILE!
