Question headrest removal

I'm working on cleaning the interior of my wife's 75 Delta 88 'Vert and the driver's headrest pulled right out. But I can't figure out how to get the passenger side 'rest out.

What's the secret?

Be gentle with me. This is my first major GM project. LOL!

Thanks in advance.

Is it not moving at all or just gets to a certain point and stops?

It moves all the way up and down through the adjustment range. I just can't get it ALL the way out.

Have you tried pushing the adjuster button in all the way while pulling up the headrest? If that does not work, try sliding a very thin screwdriver down the side with the locking indents and then pull the head rest up.

Yes, I've tried pushing the adjuster button in all the way. I'll give the screwdriver trick a try. Thanks!
