Gauge Removal

What is the best way to remove the Rally Pac gauges in my 69 442? Do I have to remove them from behind the dash? Or is there some way to do the removal from the front?

Thanks!

Fred H

1969 Gauges

Hello Fred
I have some photos of the back side of a 1969 dashboard. I took these when someone else was asking how to remove the gauge pods. Your welcome to check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions about them. The only way I've been able to remove the pods is by going in from the back with a 1/4 inch wrench and unscrewing the two small bolts. John

You ever run into the speedminder speedometer for 1970-1972 Cutlass? I've only seen very few of them. Would like to get one for my restoration. Any tips on where to look? Far as i know you can't use 68/9 speedminders because they have a different circuit board and dash mount. Is it even possible to convert a stock speedo to speeminder, or is it a whole different animal?
