I'm in the middle of restoring the interior on my 1972 Cutlass Supreme and am changing the color scheme from saddle brown to white. The seat covers are next and I need to know what color to paint the front seat center arm rest back cover pictured below. The carpet will be black and I am wondering if the original color scheme included this painted white or black. Thinking white but I may be wrong? Any pictures would help as well.

Sorry I'm so late on this, Just saw you're post.
It is white with white interior, just have to find the proper white.
I painted mine with a Krylon off white and it matched my interior color pretty good. So when you get you're interior done find a white ( try Krylon Satin finish). that matchs you're white. Barb.
PS, Mine was an egg white color.
