firewall underdash insulation

firewall underdash insulation

i am trying to figure out where all seven fasteners go since it has been 6 years since i took out. any diagram out there. i cant find it in my assembly manual, help is appreciated.

For AC cars, check out page 1-2 / 106 in the assy manual. Item 12 is the stud for the insulator fastener and there are 7 holes shown.

For non-AC cars, check out page 1-2 / 104 in the assy manual. Item 1 is the stud for the insulator fastener and there are 8 holes shown.

my awesome manual from parts place

my manual doesnt have the page. nor does wild about cars. do you have it and where can i buy the best one thats complete?

If your retainers have the hole in the centre, then use a roberston screwdriver and use that as a punch for the hammer in driving home the retainers. It will stop them from deforming.
