Convertible Door Windlace Question

Bought the repo door Windlace set for te 72 vert I'm doing. The new pieces did not have the cut out for the door jamb wedges, and I didn't do a good job cutting them out myself. Does anyone have any tips on this? The angle, and different materials make it a challenge to do without messing up the rest of the piece.

Sharp pair of wire cutters for the small two cuts and I used several razor blades in a utility knife and kept scoring the long cut out until it was able to be flexed back and forth until broken. Add pearl white interior to this for toppers.

Yes I had to go thru the same procedure. When cutting out the rectangle, also just be careful in the horizontal cuts. Don't go too deep or you will cut into the groove that holds it in place. The interior metal "mesh" pieces have to be cut with a utility knife. lots of work
