CONVERT TO BUCKETS AND CONSOLE
CONVERT TO BUCKETS AND CONSOLE
HI,
I am in the middle of restoring my 72 442 convert. It is a pwr bench seat car and I do have the pwr buckets, console, steering column and a Hurst shifter with NOS cable. If I convert over will this hurt the value of my 442? I would save the bench seat and steering column so if anybody want to convert it back they could.
Thanks

If you ask me it would make it worth more, at least what the parts cost.
As long as you keep the old parts in case you want to sell it to a bone stock purist. I see no problem unless it some sort of survivor type car they use for concours restoration references.
