A/C vents

I have a 1973 Cutlass S with factory air. The round vents are loose and wobble around. Does anyone know a way to fix them. Tks.

Remove the vents from the back of the dash pad and you will see there are some felt pieces that fit between the chrome ball and the mounting housing. Yours will be worn or partially missing, letting the vent ***** wobble. Replace the felt with new should hold them tight.

Hi, I was able to pull the chrome ball out from the front of the dash and I did not see where any felt could go. All I see is a plastic socket. When I removed the glove box insert I can feel the duct work going into the back of the plastic socket. Does the felt line the plastic socket? If so what and where can I get the felt? Thanks for any help.
