Its not about the vendor (although price might be) its about the supplier.

American Cushion Industries (ACI) is the foam you want. Ask the vendor who's "buns" they sell.

I've used cheap ones from OPG before & never again.

For my 70 buckets, I unfortunately bought the PUI and it does not fit. The seat piece was fine but the back did not fit at all (could not get the vinyl over it and it was shaped funny and I ended up reusing my old foam for the seat back. I would second the ACI brand

Does that sound like somone you really want to do business with? After 3 years, i'm pretty sure you know who your suppliers are and who they aren't.

Thats the answer you get when they don't sell the brand you are asking about, hoping you will order them anyway.

^ Sounds about right, unless he was in a pinch for time and didn't have access to his files.

I ordered my foams through Tamraz in 2009 with my PUI upholstery through them.
I forget who made the foams, but I had them professionally installed.
Trimming of the foam is often necessary.

IIRC I paid $100 each bucket

I bought some from Legendary a few years back when I ordered new seat covers. I never used them because they were to dang fat. They had a saguaro cactus formed into the foam. Stay away from them.

Just perusing the new Year One catalog. Holy Cow are things getting expensive. I mean everything, including seat foam.
