I picked up a 72 bench seat for my 69 Cutlass and am stripping it down so I can clean it up and re-upholster it. I can't get the seat backs off. My CSM manual doesn't show a detail that applies to my seat. For a 69 you can remove the center bolts and remove the back. This seat doesn't have bolts in the center. Any help is appreciated.

Those roll out. See how they are a certain way? You flip the seat back forward once unbolted from the side, like a 2 door would, then pull the outside back and it will roll out of the hole.

To reinstall, lead with the tip and roll in.

 

Thanks, With the seat in the upright position you can't pull the side over the post but when folded you can. I hadn't noticed that.
