Aftermarket Dash Panel 66 442

The dash panel on my 1966 442 is not in the best of shape. Considering buying an aftermarket panel (a number of aftermarket suppliers offer them) and wanted to know what other people think about those panels they have purchased.
Thanks in advance……Tom

I think the only issue is they made the 67 bezel that has a deeper wiper switch pocket. It will work fine but just be aware of this difference. You have to modify the switch a little but no big deal. I have heard the overall quality is good. I'm pretty sure all of the various vendors sell the Parts Place bezel.

Don't do it. They are not good quality. See Ron Roth. He does excellent restorations.

Gonna have Ron Roth restore the dash panel. I’m adding a/c to the car which it didn’t have from the factory. Ron will add the vent in the dash that’s needed. I’ll need to find the plenum that goes behind it. I found the factory vents for each corner of the dash. Wondering if anyone has done an aftermarket A/C kit to a 66 442….looking for some guidance on what brand they used, etc.

Tom
