Got tired of my "Rocket" looking bad on my dual gate console. I used a Q-tip/toothbrush with alcohol to clean it, got as much of the (old) red off I could (what was left came off easy). Next got a dark red sharpie (new one with good sharp point) and colored in the areas that should be red. Cleaned off excess with Q-tip and alcohol and WOW....turned out nice.
I was impressed....tried it out of desperation of trying to find a new/different emblem.
Even the new (re-pop) plates you can buy don't look that great. Also the re-pops that I have had in my hands don't have the correct curve (contour) towards the back of the plate.
A little time and you will like the result's !
