? '68 GTO tilt column (A-body same?)

I believe that the 68 Pontiac GTO column IS the same as a 68 442 and would be a direct swap. (floor shift & with tilt) (obviously the signal and tilt lever is prob. different but am assuming the Olds levers will swap out)

I'm looking for solid confirmation from someone that is Positive that the above is True... Or if it's not, then what the heck is different?
Thanks!!!

I think @starfire65 would know this answer. He is also in north Texas and he recently acquired a tilt for his '68 after searching for more than 5 years
