Can anyone tell me how to remove the lock cylinder on my 1968 cutlass center console? I have a new lid and want to switch the lock to the new lid. Thanks

 

you need to remove the inner panel, remover the lock cylinder from the case ( **** assembly) and then unscrew the escutcheon from the case. To remove the cylinder you have to depress the lock tab on the case by pushing down on the cylinder until the tab is in the small window that is in the case.
