As you can see from the attached photo of my armrest base that the plastic, as well as the rest of the plastic interior trim, has turned from blue to green. Most of the reproduction stuff comes in black only and they state that you must "paint to match" your interior. The problem is that I understand that the color was put in the plastic during the manufacture of the parts and was not painted on afterwords. Now I need to find what to use to paint plastic and what color choices I have. SEM makes a product that works well on plastic but I'm not sure which color comes closest to what was originally used. Any suggestions? Thanks. armrest base

I'd just find a close SEM color and go with it. No one is going to be able to tell if the shade is off

Yes.
I had a similar problem. There are few Vista Cruisers still functional, much less being restored. The wagon-only parts are not reproduced.
The only interior parts available were the parts shared with Cutlasses. So, for example, if I wanted all the seats to look the same, I had to buy vinyl by the yard and have an upholsterer fit it to my car. Same with carpet.
I asked for samples from the suppliers and went with the best matches.
And I had color-match paint mixed to restore the sun-damaged plastic pieces.
Everything was in the same dark brown color family, but nothing was identical.
It turned out spectacularly well. The upholsterer told me that if everything matched it would lack the "energy" you see when you look in my car.
I can't seem to be able to find a color chart to compare. I was just hoping that someone with the same color interior as mine would have SEM color number. I guess that I can get a can of each of their blue colors and spray some of each for comparison.
