68 convertible window regulators

How difficult is it to replace the window regulators? 68 442 convertible.

This is the last thing on my list of stuff to do on my 442. I have new crank handles. Some of the crank handles just won't hold the posts of the regulators. The posts are very worn.
Also, If I get new regulators should I anticipate needing other parts like tracks or rollers etc.?
This will be my first time working with the regulators.

If your handles are aftermarket it's much more likely that the handles are junk. There's a huge problem with aftermarket handles stripping on OEM posts

That being said it's not difficult to replace all the door guts. The Fisher Body Manual has all the diagrams as well as adjustment instructions

The convertible door guts are the same as hardtops so the guts are interchangeable. I think only the rear window itself is specific to convertibles (not sure about the regulators and associated hardware). The wing windows are specific to convertibles
