67 442 Parchment Interior Color??

Ok so I ordered from OPG an interior kit for the 67 442 Sport Coupe. I opened the box today to find a shiny pearl, almost metallic, seat cover set. Looks nothing like what I have seen before or what is on the seats that came with the car. The actual interior seat color I believe is champagne. Did I get anything close to what is original!! What goes?

Joe as far as I know OPG uses PUI stuff....they are the only prefab upholstry company that makes them for the sports coupe .... you could get a sample kit from SMS in oregon and go from there

but open you wallet wide..

Wes I can get em made here as well. The thing I really question is the color. Is it close to being a match? (To me NO) Opinions?

It's not meant to be parchment it's champagne.

You are comparing 44 year old material to new. I think it's pretty close to what it should be.

That is what I am trying to figure out. Thanks, but I am not so sure I agree... I would call this pearl and not parchment. They only list parchment for 66 and 67 seat covers and champagne is not an option. As soon as the rear covers arrive I will compare and make some phone calls. I dont think time will erase the pearlescent from the covers, and rest of the original interior? I am not disputing the color just the appearance.

If the original stuff is bad, and off the seats, look at the seams where there is protected overlap inside. the material will be close to its original state there. Occasionally swatch sets show up on ebay, and as noted in a post above, SMS has correct stuff and can send you samples.

For 1967 the Olds Color and Fabric Selector album calls for champagne (trim 14) for the light tannish color.

I will request a sample.

Henry do you have the Fabric Book to show picture of champagne? That would help.
