67 442 kick panel carpet replacement

I want to relace the carpet.
Anyone know of a source for buying just the carpet. Or suggestions as to what to do if there is no source.
I can pull the staples and put new staple in (take some time of course)

I got them for my Buicks from Legendary. They were the right colors, cut to the right shape, and bound. They probably make them for your car, too.

Which cars got them and which didn't? I kind of like them without, was that for F-85s only? My 67 has AC, but I am going to do my granddad's trick of using a non-air left side one for the extra vent. I have a nice set without carpet; it has the vinyl texture; did they all have the grain and carpet was just glued on them if needed?

For Olds, I'm not sure which cars had carpet, but I'm guessing Supremes. I know my 69 442 has no carpet on the doors, but a friend's 69 Supreme had it. They all had grain and use the same panels. They were just stapled onto the panels. Good trick with the left vent. AC kick carpets and regular ones are different, so you would need 2 sets, or you would need to cut the lt from an AC set to fit. The carpets could be made easily by an upholstery guy, extra easy if you had an old one to trace. Finally...I'm REALLY disappointed with the last AC car set I bought from Legendary for my 70 GS455. Long story...but the panels on the car were changed when I got it and it should have had them. The RT side I got from Legendary was cut like crap! Where the bulge is on the right panel, there should be a gentle curve of the carpet and it should be bound. The ones I got are just chopped at a 90 degree angle and unbound. I just realized this recently looking at an orig car.

I bought the kick panel carpet from Legendary. No complaints at all.
Anyone have a suggestion as to how to attach the new carpet to the kick panel plastic. Tthe original was stapled on.

Contact Cement. Be sure to get it right up to the edges.

I stapled mine with a regular hand staple gun.

Thanks all. I am going to use the glue (either 3M 77 or contact cement) and also staple the corners until the glue dries!
