Ron, sorry to hear, hope all gets better. Do you have any 67 column shift with no air instrument panels left, I might be in the market for one?

Sorry News

Ron I hope everything works out for you. I'm glad we became friends. The Olds community will have a huge hole now. I'm sure no one else can fill your shoes. Please stay in touch, Dave

Health issues? Yep, he is SICK of being screwed by people who ask for his TOP QUALITY work and then don't want to pay for it.
Time for me to "rant and rave" for a moment. The vast majority of the people that visit this site (and other similar forums) are wonderful, considerate and helpful people. Why is it that the "deadbeats" are the ones that complain the loudest?

I was referred to Ron on this forum. I spoke to him and then sent him the instrument panel out of my '67 442 for refurbish. I had never met the man, but he offered the following: sent me step-by-step instructions for removal, made himself available on the weekend for telephone support in case there were difficulties, sent me a box to use for shipping the panel to him. When he received the panel, he contacted me about customizing the dash by adding a tachometer. He researched the tachometer that would fit and mounted it. It looks PERFECT.
This man does this out of love for the cars and his helpful nature. Why someone would refuse to pay for his service is just WRONG.

Ron, you are a friend to many of us, especially me.

Double or triple your price - get all of it up front - and send back any unused $ when you send the instrument panel back. If anybody questions your policy, have them check your references on this forum.
