62 super 88 interior

In need of replacement of carpeting and seat covers in my recently inherited 62 Super 88 sedan.

All recommendations welcomed. Are there any commercial sources.e.g.RAYCO, that could do the seats at a reasonable price??

What about independents? Any in the Cleveland, OH area??

Thanks

I looked all around the Cleveland area and decided on Portage Trim in Ravenna to have my '71 Vista seats restored to original. I found them to be the most experienced and reasonably priced, plus they understood what I was talking about and wanted with no drama, quote over the phone. It depends on how you want the seats done, a lot of places just do generic covers. I ordered my carpet from Auto Carpet Originals with extra yardage for the front seat back, door panels, and load floor. The site is Auto Custom Carpet with way lower prices than their corporate site, probably because their vendors would frown upon lower prices on the ACC site itself.

Yup, SMS is the best bet. There are no stock seat covers being sold by anyone for '62 model cars, unless someone just happens to have discovered some old stock somewhere and put it on eBay or has taken it to a swap meet somewhere. Aside from that, the old seat padding probably needs to be replaced to make the car comfortable, particularly the front seat or driver's seat if it has buckets.

There are a number of good choices for reproduction headliners and GM authorized reproduction carpets.
