Does anyone know if the original back seat seat covers from a convertible be the same size (dimensions) as a 2 dr hardtop rear seat?

Convertible rear seats in those years were usually narrower than hardtop seats to accommodate the top frame and hydraulic cylinders.

 

Rocketraider, would a more door ( 4 door) be the same seat as a convertible? May provide a few more options

 

I'm gonna say no. 4d sedan seats are wider than even 2d HT and the 4d rear cushion is rounded at outer corners for easier entry and exit.

But any 61-64 GM B-body convertible rear seat frame will work in a 62 SF. Change the upholstery and walla!

 

Good point, I do believe that a wagon and a more door rear rears seats do interchange?

 

I put a 61 Starfire interior in my 61 Dynamic 88 hardtop and it is about 2 1/2" narrower than the original.
