62 Starfire Convertible Boot
Hey All,
Like the rest of you, I am continually trying to bring my cars to the next level. Cannot find anyone in the industry locally that can recreate the ribbed design convertible boot that was exclusive to the 62 Starfire. Had an arguement with an elderly reputable auto uphoulsterer who claimed there is no such thing. Had to show him the brochure to make my point.
Any knowledge of where to get what I want will b e deeply appreciated.

hello
You might want to talk to SMS upholstery on the west coast. They gave
me a quote of $495.00 for the stafire boot. I found out thats about
$100.00 more than get a regular one. Now I have heard that it takes time
to get it done but they do great work I am planning to have do my door
paneling and a boot done by them

Thanks Jim,
I made contact with a shop in Toronto, Canada. He was referred to me from Steve, of Jaswest (the manufacturer of the side moldings for our cars). I'm considering using him. Good luck and I hope we are both pleased with the outcome.
