Possibly get in touch with either of these 2 people. They both have 1959 98's.

Did not the '59 come from the factory with the "Starlite" (foam) headliner? Believe 6- through 62 did?

Can you imagine being a FBW worker doing the interiors and having to memorize all that detail? Of course after the first 200 or so you'd have it nailed down...

I will take lots of pictures when I will restore my headliner. I just ordered some fabric yeasterday that I though was the closest match to the original pale green starlite foam.

Headliner now done. Here are a few pics of the work and results. Original cardboard panels were a bit wavy and I couldn't straighten them out more than what I did. I a very happy with the results anyway.

Have to say, I do like your choice of material! What is it, and where did you get it?

It is a covering fabric from a general fabric store. It was the closest match to the original colour and pattern for the (in)famous star-lite headliner material. It's amazing what you can find there that can be used for cars, be they vinyls or fabrics. ...and it's much cheaper than specialized vendors.

1960 Olds Dynamic 88 Fiesta Wagon Interior Parts/Materials

Can you please provide me with any leads so I can obtain as close to original as possible the interior of my Fiesta Wagon. I guess areas of concern are:
1) Door panels
2) Seat cloth material and patterns for
3) Headliner ( backer and face material segments)
4) Carpet kit
5) My wagon came with the optional split bench seat and not the third seat. Would I devaluing my wagon if I looked for the third seat and installed it? Please contact me at rubens1963nova@gmail.com

I believe the best (only?) source for all of that is SMS auto fabrics, out of Oregon.

As noted by others, with respect to #1 and #2 your best bet is SMS Fabrics.

In dealing with the it is imperative to appreciate and apply the "PP Principle".

What is that you ask? PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE. SMS is more that quite busy. You need to get your project in its to do line. Once you have accomplished that you must stay in regular contact to monitor the progress of your advancing along the SMS production line, so to speak.

I presume you are aware that you must remove and send your door panels to SMS to have them redone? You need to check out the web site and then call. Be sure to get a name, ph. # and email address of the person handling your order.

Then, confirm via email the telephone conversation and keep in touch every step of the way. Shoot an email when you have shipped the door panels to let them know they are on the way. Ask that they notify you by emmail when they arrive.

Just as frame of reference, it is not unreasonable to expect 4 months to elapse from sending in your door panels to getting them back.
