1970 98 Day/Night Mirror

I know I've asked before but I got no response. I'm hoping someone out there can help me. The Day/Night switch on my map light mirror won't stay in night, it immediately flips back to day. Does anyone know how to fix this? It is the original and I do not want to replace it with a repro.

I know that Scott who goes by Oldspackrat has restored these mirrors for the Cutlass/442. I suspect he would know how to repair yours. You might try contacting him at 317-727-7041. He's located in Indiana.
