1969 Cutlass S Hardtop power window install

I'm going to be stripping down with my brother a 1968 Cutlass S convertible and using some of the parts on my 1969 Cutlass S hardtop. I'd like to use the power windows from the parts car on all the front and rear windows of the 1969. The regulator appears to be the same for the front but we're not sure if the regulator from the 1968 conv. will work on the back windows of the 1969 hardtop. My brothers thinking that the window config might be different for the hardtop which would stop the regulator from working correctly.

Thanx again for any and all assistance. Cheers

The hardtop (no post) and convertible use the same power window parts. The 68 door regulators are different from the 1969, however. The rear regulators, the wiring harnesses, motors, switchs are all the same from a 1968 to 1969 2 door A body. You will need to find 1969 A body 2 door HT or Convert door regulators.

Guess we had in reverse thinking it was the rear regulators that were different on my 69 no post hardtop. Thank You again for the help. Cheers.
