1966 Cutlass Convertible Dash

I am in the process of replacing the dash pad on my 66 Cutlass.
While I am in there I will be repainting the dash surround and support
.Does anyone know if the standard is Gloss of Flat paint.

I think the top of the dash (near the windshield) is flat to prevent glare. And the front and sides that you see as part of the interior is semi-gloss.

The top of the metal dash where the defroster ducts dump, and the sides where AC outlets would be, will be a very grainy flat color called a "suede" by some paint shops. Rustoleum "textured" paint comes close. The bottom of the metal dash running across includng where the steering column and the ash tray go will be gloss.

I'll double check the 1966 Interior paint chip set I have.
