1966 442 Interior Lighting

Is there an option such as a Courtesy Lighting, for lack of a better term, which would be lighting in both footwells and perhaps additional interior lighting other than the two round lamps on the rear interior quarter trim ? I did find a pigtail in the left side in the trunk area clipped to the decklid hinge for a decklid lamp which I found a unit off a Delmont, plugged it in and it worked.I would assume if there was an option there would be unused wiring pigtails up front by the kick panels, but have not had time to look.
The car is extremely dark at night, even with a white headliner. My 1970 El Camino SS454 has the Courtesy Lighting package and there are lamps everywhere when one turns on the dome light, the Olds seems like a dismal failure in this area.

My 67 has a courtesy light at each end of the dash, in the rear of the console, and the sail panels. 66 should be similar.

RPO U29, Courtesy lights, a $4.42 option on two door cars. Included on convertibles as standard equipment.

Thanks for the informatiom. After careful scrutiny I see no pigtail connectors for the lower dash lights or a glovebox lamp.I was hoping that Olds used the same harness reguardless, and simply would add the lamp sockets and bulbs if the car was optioned for the U29. I find it odd that this car had a pigtail connector for a trunk mounted lamp for the underside of the decklid.

Go back and look at the drawing I posted above. The courtesy lights come with a harness that runs the length of the dashboard. There are two connectors, an orange wire for power and a white wire that connects to the dome lamp pin switches for ground when you open the doors.

Got it.I went back and looked and I see the orange pigtail connector. Also a Green/White stripe wire connector and a Brown wire connector that are not connected to anything. All I need to do is find that kit you have pictured and install it.No problem there.
Finding the kit complete may be difficult.
