Smile If you blinked,

You missed it.

I was just looking at "Hurst Olds" cars on ebay. When I started, there were 2 69's, one just listed from NH with a 35K buy it now. Within a few minutes, it was gone. Said to be original except for a rebuilt engine. The listed numbers were said to be matching as well.

My friend just bought that one in NH for the 'Buy It Now' price a few hours ago. He's hoping it's everything it purports to be. Tons of options. He was a nervous wreck before clicking on it but I told him I didn't think it would have lasted the night at that price. I'll keep you posted.

I'll have to check the ad again but IIRC it is car# 61. I told him the same thing that if the ad misrepresents the actual car he can get out of the deal. Now the hard part is 'putting eyes' on the car before paying/shipping. Looks like the only thing missing is the upper pan assy (it has an OAI setup on there now). Anyway a mostly original H/O w/ tons of cool options at that price is a deal IMO (I'd be willing to be it's one of a very few with Cruise - I've never seen another). We have been seriously looking for about 6 months now and a lot lesser cars have sold for 15-20k more recently.

Isn't this the one that had oil blowing out all around under the front side of the engine where the harmoic balancer had come apart?

Actually, that was on ebay about a month ago and didn't sell, see Jamesbo Dec 10 posting on the car. Didn't look the paint was original on it either, at least the stripes.
