Post 69 h/o?

I was googling images of 68-69 442s and found this:

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...3D252%26um%3D1

It kinda looks like it might've been a Hurst/Olds at one time. Or maybe just painted like one. I didn't know if anyone here knew about this or was interested in looking into it. I emailed the seller but have no response yet.

Yeah, and with the prior vinyl top and these stripes on the trunk, it DEFINITELY is not a real H/O.

New to site. Just reading some stuff on here, with this 69 Olds in the salvage yard, a dead give away are the 2 stripes on the deck lid.

BTW, Joe, It's like losing your best friend, I am sure you are still sick over the fire. So very sorry!!!

That's not Joe's. I'm sure his is safe and sound [unless a horse kicked it]

Wrong name Sorry.

Thanks I stand corrected.
What did the owner ever do with the burnt 69 H/O?
I couldn't imagine losing mine.

Just thinking Jamesbro. I hope your car is well secured in the storage yard. I am sure it is. Would hate to see parts on the engine come up missing.
