I have come to realize that my 1969 Hurst Olds dual gate top plate is too wide to fit my 1970 442 center console. Can I substitute a 1970 top plate on 1969 DG body? I know there is an issue with 3 holes vs 4 on 69 DG body, but I can probably work around that issue. With the exception of top plate widths and different mounting legs on DG body, are bodies interchangeable?
Any other issues?
