Tires

They should. I had 255/70/15 tires on the rear of a 76 Salon with no issues.
I would check the front for clearance before buying them. The tire shop should do a test fit for you free of charge.

Is there even such a size available? I have never seen this size in any tire. There are 245-60's, 235-70's, 255-70's. All of these would fit your car but the 255-70 might be a bit big for the front. A 245-60 or 255-60 would probably be close to your factory tire size that would have come on that car.

Thank you guys. I am going to order them and have them put on. I put some 225/60/15 on it and they are just too small so now I am trying to unload them on craigslist. I've been looking around and yes you are right I put that up wrong the 70/15 are LT tires but the 60/15's are easy to find. I wasn't sure on a 255 though I think it would look great.
what about staggering the tires so the fronts are smaller could I then go with a 255 in rear and a 235 or 245 in front?

If you want the car to sit up a bit and not drag the ground a 235/70 would fit nice. A 245/60 would be about as big/wide as I would go all the way around.
Don't stagger on a stock rim, it wouldn't benefit you enough in the looks department to give up rotating once a year.
