I have no idea about the slab, my friends shop where I’m doing all the work had this poured especially for this purpose. It’s a regular automotive shop that does daily light duty automotive truck and car repairing.

6" monolithic slab is preferred, You can also pour piers down to the frost line to set the posts on, but it will float independently of the slab.
