Im looking for mags with the 69 h/o I have june 1969 motor trend. I know of the july super stock also. Im looking to find out witch ones are out there and then buy them so if you have any to sell or ken tell me of more than the two I know of so far Thanks

Are you in the Hurst Olds club?
They have a research library of photocopied stuff you can buy. It includes photocopies of some old and new magazine articles. You could work up your collection from there.

Good bunch of people in my opinion. I have the 69 stuff somewhere in the basement. I bought it while I was looking for a car, to help me be as knowledgeable as possible before dropping coin. Might be a chore to find at this point.

 

i love to see the old adds and reports .

So Thanks to jeff(1969 hurst) I have found many of the mags I did have to pony up some cash for a 1969 motorcade . I have also got a car craft, hotrod , motor trend, superstock , superstock fx . I like to read the old ads and the parts adds .

 

old post but out of the mags you listed with HO articles, do any of them have any testing with a 391 geared 69 HO's?

 

In reviewing them again, the 07/69 Motorcade and 08/69 Road Test used the 3.91 cars, others like 07/69 Car Life and 07/69 Hot Rod used 3.42 cars and some didn't say. 07/69 SS&DI used an A/C car...

 

cool- i wonder what 1/4 mile times they got out of the 391 cars?

 

i will look at the ones I have I beleave i have all of them.
