Lightning Rod Shifter Pictures
I have recently installed a 200-4r overdrive transmission and I want to replace my console shifter w/ a set of Lightning Rods! I have a shifter but I'm unsure of the application. Could some one help me w/ this? Here are some pictures of the shifter pattern.
The part number on the bottom of the shifter is 1950181. Wondering if this is Hurst # or GM#?
Thanks for any help!

You can just simply count the shift points
short answer it's a 3 speed with Camero brackets.
4 speeds came only in factory 83-84 Hursts and don't have the reverse lockout and line lock switch...
The number on the bottom is a Hurst number, these were never manufactured by GM nor were they ever on a production line. The 4 speeds were installed at Cars and Concepts where the Hurst conversions occured for 83 and 84 Hurst Olds.
GM did have part numbers for the 4speeds but they weren't stamped on them, only listed in the parts books ordering replacements.
