Don't know about those specific mats, But you can have a custom set made thru these guys.

They're located only about ten miles from me.

That car looks EXACTLY like the one I had back in 1978!! only mine was red inside. Mine came with factory mats and they weren't anything like that. I wouldn't be surprised if they could be ordered from GM in the day, but nowadays you can get whatever kind of mat you want from most suppliers. Be prepared to spend some $$ though. Gotta admit it is a gorgeous finishing touch to the car. Good luck finding them.

I may have a set in storage. PM me an offer and I can take a look. Really hard to get excited about digging through an unheated shed when the temp is 0!

1979 Hurst Olds Mats

I'm currently the owner of the white/gold 79 H/O in the 1/09 Hemmings Muscle Machines. I bought those floor mats probably about 8 years ago from Fusick (right here in CT) who had posted them on e Bay. I've been told the mfgr is no longer in business. They are made of real rubber and sometimes you can find rear ones with a set.

One thing though. Take a good look at the carpeted sections. I took out the carpet that was in those slots and replaced it with pieces of the same carpet that's on the floor and the lower door panels. So if you are re-carpeting your floor be sure to ask for extra material enough for 4 lower door panels. ACC carpet will sell extra pieces.

These mats pop up from time to time, but as time goes by it's few & far between. I'd prefer to have a set of NOS GM camel tan mats but they are seemingly impossible to find.

Thanks for asking,

Gene

FYI

If you only got the fronts, there is a set of rear mats like those on ebay right now. Said to be unused.

These H/O mats use to be avalible from a Guy In Florida that sold Olds Parts BY Catalog. He use to have them manufactured. I bought a pair for my 79 in 1991. I think they were about $100.00 for the 4( set). Super nice looking mats. I already tried hunting him down a few years by the Catalog and found he's gone. There not in any way H/O original but actually better than originals. I'm going to put them in my 69 when I find some. Also they were avalible in 2 different color styles.
