83H/O Power Window Issue

My passenger side window has been acting up. Sometimes it will work just fine, other times it'll go down and then not want to come back up. If it gets stuck down I tape the passenger switch (which is new) in the up position and eventually it springs to life and comes up. It's not sluggish with the motor and the driver's side window is perfect, suggestions?

If the switches are new and you've already checked the plug connections for corrosion, I would suspect the motor could use a cleaning. The window motor assemblies have a stamped metal housing with tabs that are bent over which keep everything together. You can take them apart to clean the bearings, brushes, etc. instead of buying a new motor. The original grease often gets hard over time and needs to be cleaned out and replaced.

Here's a link that may help
