How common are white bucket seats in a white 79 H/O?

 

All of the white '79s that I've seen in the past 20+ years had tan vinyl or cloth, as far as I can remember. I sure can't say I've seen 'em all though.

 

The (Oyster) white interior found in some white/gold 79 H/O's was not all that common, and it essentially consisted of white bucket seats, white upper and lower door panels (with a camel tan carpet running along the bottom), as well as some of the other interior panels. Most of the rest of the interior was camel tan, which gave it a sort of "2 tone" interior look. It wasn't very appealing as it took on a very dirty appearance if it was not cared for properly, and it does not age well at all. And, the door panels usually scratched and/or wore through to reveal the camel tan base underneath.

Never ever have I seen the white Int. I worked at a Olds dealer through 78 and 79 when they were new as well. I owned 2 as well. That must be a Rare option

 

My 79 has the white tan interior. I think I have only seen one other one with the white and tan interior. Here is a pic. Its is hard to see but if you look at the seat thru the window you can see it is white. I will try to get some better pics.
